This do was zara-hatke in the true sense of the word. A car rally was organised by a prominent club in association with Kanpur Times ,on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, saw all the Kanpurites having a lot of fun and masti.The event kick-started with DIG Hari Shanker Shukla waving the chequered flag.
A host of vintage cars were seen speeding on the roads of Kanpur. Prominent among other cars which took part in the rally were Bharat Chand Seth's Play Mouth along with Rajesh Gupta's Baby Austin, Raghvendrajeet Singh's Rally, Honey Gupta's Austin, Pankaj Gupta's Mercedes and Jaffer's willey's Jeep. The president of the club,Sunil Shahlot; Secretary, Sudhir Paraswani and rally chairman Raghvendra Seth made sure that everything went smoothly(including the cars). jodi of Tarun Bharti and Atul Dhingra took the honour by winning the first prize, while Rohit Bajpai and Ankur Kapoor finished second in the rally.
Later to celebrate the occasion all the participants were invited at a prominent discotheque in the evening ,where the prize distribution ceremony took place. Once all the prizes were given all the members of the club grooved on the beats of music and were seen shaking their leg on the latest hit numbers like hare ram hare ram, o yaara dhol baaj and soni de nakhre which were belted out by DJ Harsh.
Gautam Khemka, Ashish Agarwal, Rajiv, Dipak Oswal, Dheeraj Chugh, Sanchit Gulati, Sudhir Paraswani and Vivek Karwa were seen having a gala time as they danced on the track ae ganpat chal daru la.After all this dance and masti, everybody headed towards the dinning area and were seen savouring the delicious grub.
